Shiny, Green & FUN for Summer! Pussy & Pooch Opens Summer Pop-Up Shop at the Long Beach Museum of Art during Architecture for Dogs exhibit

You know how much we love pet centric art and well thought functionally designed products for you and your pets. So, you can image how excited we are about our new endeavor with the Long Beach Museum of Art (LBMA)!

Starting today through September 1, we will be hosting a Pussy & Pooch Pet Pop-Up Shop at the LBMA in support of the worldwide museum debut of Architecture For Dogs. Our pop-up is filled with lots of stylish, design-forward goodies for modern pets and their people, and will be open* Thursdays 11am – 8pm, Friday-Sunday 11am-5pm. In addition, we will be serving tasty pet treats during the LBMA’s Yappy Hour dog socials taking place every Thursday all summer long at their ocean-front restaurant Claires. The first Yappy Hour is June 27, 5pm – 8pm, be sure to check dates/times for all upcoming events,

Whether you’re a local to Long Beach or a visitor to the area, we hope you support the arts and take in this amazing pet-friendly exhibit looking at the joyful relationship between dogs and their humans, Curated by cultural tastemaker and Tokyo-based designer Kenya Hara, the exhibit featuresing world-renowned architects, designers and various dog breeds, including MVRDV (Beagle), Kazuyo Sejima (Bischon Frise), Sou Fujimoto (Boston Terrier), Reiser & Umemoto (Chihuahua), Atelier Bow-Wow (Dachshund Smooth), Torafu (Jack Russell Terrier), Shigieru Ban (Papillon), Kengo Kuma (Pug), Toyo Ito (Shiba), Hiroshi Naito (Spitz), Konstantin Grcic (Toy Poodle), Kenya Hara (Tea Cup Poodle).
