Dog Day Afternoon + a Flying Nun
The 7th Annual Dog Days Afternoon event was another pawsome event that drew more than 600 dogs (including one pretty pup named Sophia Loren dressed as The Flying Nun pictured below!) and more than a thousand of their humans for an evening of fun and socializing on the plaza of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. THE social canine event of the year attracted dogs of all breeds, neighbors, friends, adoptable puppies AND kittens, and plenty of local pet vendors.
Each year the furry affair gets larger and larger (although the threat of drizzle & overcast skies this year kept some canines in their dog house)... In anticipation, we put out our Green Carpet and giant Green Square Canopy to welcome guests and invite them to win prizes, load up on swag, and grab a tasty bite from our mini-Pawbar. As a special feature, we had two of our Pet Stylists getting up-close and personal with nearly 100 lucky dogs that were treated top-to-toe with pawticures & coat spritz. New this year, a cool DJ on the turntables had everyone's tails wagging... We are still wondering who enjoys Dog Days more, the humans- or the dogs?

So until next year...we can't wait ti do it all over again!
