Tis' the Season...
Wow, it’s the middle of December so you know what that means… home stretch of the holiday shopping season!!! Our 5th Annual 12 Days of Twinkle is still going strong and features lots of festive cheer, greats deals on gifts for the pet/pet lover in your life, AND several social events such as our Mutt Mingle tonight in Long Beach (Lime Santa will be there!), as well as adoptions and more.
And, speaking of Lime Santa, she will be making the rounds at the Century City Mall on Tuesday 12/20, 5pm-8pm. She’s there for a date with Pink Taco’s Bad Santa, but, she’ll also be making her way through the mall looking for those who’ve been naughty or nice – and will have treats for all. Hopefully you’ll see her!
In addition to the festiveness and fun of the season, we at Pussy & Pooch are also doing what we can to help many pets in need. If you’re looking to “Paw it Forward” and give a gift that gives back, here’s how at both Pussy & Pooch locations in either Downtown Los Angeles or Long Beach:
- Support local rescue groups this weekend on Saturday and Sunday at both Pussy & Pooch locations! Stop by for some Holiday Cheer (human treats and drinks) and support local rescue groups Downtown Dog Rescue (LA) and Seal Beach Animal Shelter (Long Beach) as they hold pet adoptions AND providing gift wrapping services for ALL your holiday gifts for donations
- Support our Operations Santa Paws Donation Drive by purchasing select items (toy, collar, leash or treats) for $1 - $10 with ALL purchases donated to our partner rescue programs the Lu Parker Project, the Long Beach P.D. Pithchford Companion Animal Village & Educational Center, and the Seal Beach Animal Shelter.
- And, feel free to drop off gently used pet toys, clothes, bedding for donation to Operation Santa Paws as well
Well, you’ve got a little more than a week to get that shopping done. I, for one, haven’t gotten very far. BUT, this is when the fun really starts, the actual hustle & bustle. And, if you’re still scratching your head as to what to get for that special pet, or pet person, in your life… be sure to check out our Holiday Gift Guide and as always, please feel free to stop-in and ask one of our pet experts!
